I am merely a man; suffocated by art. I am a southern California native who loves life and all of the art in it. I grew up with a pencil in hand and an unrelenting passion for illustration. I have always been an artist. I grew up listening to rock and roll & punk rock, skateboarding & snowboarding with friends, and making art. I fell in love with tattoo art and culture at a very young age and have immersed myself in it.
I did my first few tattoos in 2006 while studying art in college. It wasn't until 2008 that I began tattooing full-time. I am self taught, in that I never had an apprenticeship; but I credit all of the people I've worked with, over the years, for teaching me everything I know. I've had the privilege of working alongside and befriending some of the best artists in the world and I am the artist I am today because of their influence and guidance. I am forever grateful for the friendships that this industry has provided.
In the summer of 2011, I competed in and won the title of the reality television show, "Best Ink", a tattoo competition which aired worldwide. I am fortunate enough to do what I love and travel the world; permanently sharing my art with incredible clients. I am lucky enough to be an award-winning artist and to have had my art and tattoo work published in several magazines and books all over the world. I tattoo a lot of amazing people; including celebrities, lawyers, professional athletes, firemen, pastors, musicians, doctors, and more. I constantly strive to progress, as an artist, as to strengthen my skill set and offer my clients with the very best possible work. The art of tattooing is sacred to me and I am honored to be able to create permanent artwork on skin.
When I am not tattooing, I am usually working on new art or traveling with my beautiful wife and kids. I also enjoy surfing, traveling to far away worlds, getting lost, listening to music & going to live shows, and spending time with family & friends.

BIO: I was born in Durango, Colorado and grew up splitting my time between Colorado, Los Angeles and Mazatlan, Mexico. I have been immersed in so many different cultures, in my life, that I fell in love with the arts at a very young age.
I have a Bachelors of Fine Arts in studio art, with an emphasis in graphic design & business, from CSULB. I sometimes say that I’m a “Jack of all trades, master of none” because I have worked in the clothing industry, have worked in construction and have been an award winning mixologist; but nothing has touched my soul quite like tattooing has.
Tattooing has literally saved my life! For me; it’s a practice much like my meditation and PMA mindset: to work on being better in some form or another. I absolutely love doing traditional tattoo work as well as black & grey because, to me, those have stood the test of time. I just love tattooing! It has given me a life beyond my wildest dreams and allows me to be a rad dad to my son as well as making life long friendships. I’m am forever grateful for all of my clients & friends that have helped me reach where I am at in life, today, and I look forward to meeting new clients & friends to create something timeless and grow with.

My name is Daniel Di Biase, and I’ve pursued this age-old art across the country. Much of my work focuses on the timeless masterpieces of the Renaissance that are brought to life with modern fine-line black and grey. Almost all of my sessions are a full-day commitment to openness, honesty, and collaboration in a down-to-earth atmosphere.
Every client engagement is intentional and committed to embedding a rich meaning into the unique art that tells their story. In this way, a tattoo becomes a co-creation between artist and client, living canvas and ink.
All art is personal and choosing a tattoo is even more so. What is it about art that moves you? Is it the power and playfulness between light and shadow? Or, Is it the symbols and imagery that tell a deeper story than what’s on the surface?
I look forward to learning more about you.
